I am a 3D creature/character animator with an MFA in Animation from The Savannah College of Art and Design. I have spent most of my time in the visual effects industry (post-MFA) as a 3D animator at MPC in Montréal, focusing on photo-real keyframe animation for creatures and characters on a number of exciting VFX films such as Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and more.
In my spare time, I am working on a personal project (a 3D animated short film called Biogeny) for which I have designed, sculpted, topologized, textured and animated all of the creatures. I also dabble in drawing, painting and sculpting (both in ZBrush and, more recently, with clay).
Prior to taking the leap into VFX animation, I spent six years working in the demanding, fast paced and technology-driven finance industry in New York City, where I served as an advanced fixed income analytics specialist with Bloomberg LP. There, I assisted with product development, real-time client consultations, and was responsible for the management and execution of both internal and external trainings.
While my experience at Bloomberg played an invaluable role in my professional development, I have chosen to pursue a passion for creativity and a desire to breathe life into an overactive imagination. I love monsters, dinosaurs, and all of Earth's creatures, and the goal is to bring believable monsters to life through VFX movies.
